Events

Every musician knows there is nothing like the thrill of playing live. All Music Inc. supports musicians in the community and hosts a yearly free event known as “Rock The Lot” party which gives up and coming bands the opportunity to do what they love most while the bands promote the event to friends, family and the community. Last year, the event was a huge success with free food, carnival rides and games brought in for kids to play while seven bands rocked out. If you are interested in being a part of our next event, stop by the store with a sample or demo and let us see what you've got.

Getting Great Sound With a Budget PA

Gigging with a “budget” PA? No soundman?
When it comes to large scale professional sound reinforcement, there’s no substitute for a big rig system with the power and fidelity needed to accurately project sound over a large area. But for the rest of us, that “big rig” is a small powered mixer, a couple of speakers on stands and if you’re lucky, a monitor so the musicians can hear themselves.

But that doesn’t mean you have to settle for sound that’s second best! By using a few simple techniques, you can achieve surprisingly good sound even under the worst conditions. In this seminar, professional live sound engineer Joe Chinnici will show you how anyone can get excellent results with an inexpensive sound system and avoid the pitfalls that cause distortion, vocals that don’t cut through the mix and those dreaded feedback gremlins.
This workshop is recommended for anyone who uses sound equipment – bands, solo acts, acoustic musicians, as well as clubs, organizations and other institutions that use sound equipment for meetings, social events and other functions.

About Joe…
Joe's 20 years of professional live sound experience includes shows with Elvis Costello, Sheryl Crow, Axl Rose and Rob Thomas. He's worked some of the most prestigious rooms in the country including Radio City Music Hall, the Beacon Theater and the Count Basie Theater. Joe is also the exclusive live sound engineer for the Fab Faux (featuring Will Lee, Jimmy Vivino, Jack Petruzzelli, Rich Pagano & Frank Agnello). Perhaps most importantly, Joe also manages the sound system from the stage whenever he's performing with his own band!
