1989 ESP Japan Horizon Deluxe Trans Blue Electric Guitar w/ Gig Bag Used

$ 899.95

Welcome, you are looking at a really cool piece.
This is the 1989 ESP Japan Horizon Deluxe Trans Blue Electric Guitar.
25.5" scale length. 43mm nut width. 7 lbs 5 oz.
.78"-.92" 1st to 12th fret neck depth.
Fans of hard rock have a special place in their hearts for original 80s ESP guitars.
Kirk Hammett, Queensryche, George Lynch, Vernon Reid all had the coolest guitars, and they were all ESP.
This Horizon comes from that same great era- 1989.
The body here looks to be swamp ash- which is backed up by the light weight and excellent natural resonance.
Dual ESP custom pckups, humbucker and single coil, take it up a notch.
The bridge position looks like the X2N and has a very similar gain push and tone to it- crunch and searing leads are right on tap here.
The neck pickup is a 'Rails' humbucker design and has the same vibe- perfect for neck sustains and warm neck cleans.
This guitar is a rock machine.
The maple/rosewood neck has a thin feel- satin finished and an oval C profile- perfect for quick position shifts.
The 14" board radius enables effortless bends and the deep body cutaways offer access to entire board.
The icing on the cake is the ESP Sinclair double locking tremolo- backrouted for deep dives and sky-high pulls.
The look here is gorgeous- trans blue finish (teal-ish) shows off the grains, bound fingerboard, 3+3 headstock, 'ESP' 12th fret logo, and black hardware.
This guitar is in good overall condition- typical marks from use you expect on a late 80s guitar (examples in pics).
Nothing that affects the performance.
The frets here are clean- set up with action of 3/32" at the 12th fret low E.
This auction includes the Fender deluxe gig bag in pics.
This is your chance to get your hands on a 1980s ESP Japan monster for the price you want.
Don't pass this by.
