Welcome, you are looking at a cool piece.
This is the 1990 Martin HD-2832 Shenandoah Acoustic Electric Guitar.
25.4" scale. 1 1/16" nut width. 15 3/4" bottom bout. 4 3/4" deep. .82"-.98" 1st to 12th fret neck depth.
Martin has been building some of the world's best acoustic guitars for over a century.
The Shenandoahs were made in Japan and assembled in the USA.
This Shenandoah features a solid spruce top and rosewood back/sides.
The woods here have aged nicely over the past 33 years, blessing us with a very responsive and resonant instrument.
Deep bass with a nice bell-like tone off the treble strings.
Plug in, and the onboard passive under saddle pickup faithfully recreates the tone here without colorization.
Really nice.
The neck here features a comfortable oval C profile, satin finished for smooth position shifts.
The look here is phenomenal- the grain patterns on the sides and back are works of art in themselves.
Add to that the rope purfling, body binding, snowflake inlays, herringbone inlay, and chrome hardware and you have yourself a gorgeous instrument.
This Martin is in very good condition as you can see in pics- small marks from age and normal use as you can see in pics.
The bridge has wear near the pins (pic).
The frets here are clean- set up with action of 7/64" at the 12th fret low E and 3/64" at the high E 12th fret.
This auction includes the original hardshell case.
This is your chance to get your hands on a great outing from Martin.
We have been an authorized Martin dealer for well over a decade. Buy with confidence.
