Welcome to All Music Inc's Musicdungeon, you are looking at a great piece.
This is the Early 1990s Carvin DC200 Ferrari Red Left-Handed Electric Guitar.
25" scale length. 1.66" nut width. 9 lbs 1 oz.
.80"-.90" 1st to 12th fret neck depth.
Carvin was responsible for some of the coolest designs, especially in the late 80s/early 90s.
This Carvin starts off with maple body with a through maple neck.
This, in combination with the brass Schaller fixed bridge, results in a big natural tone, with the weight providing a focused midrange push.
Dual Carvin humbuckers, with their 12 pole design, grab this tone and add their own vibe to the mix.
The bridge pickup meters at 11.43k- hot but not overly hot- so you have a good organic tone while still pushing the front end of the amp.
The neck pickup meters at 7.51k- perfect for sweet neck sustains.
Each pickup coil taps off of its own switch, and there is a phase switch for when both pickups are on together.
Add to that the dual jack, allowing you to send each pickup to its own amp, and you have a lot of sounds onboard here.
The maple neck here has a thin feel, while the through design enables good tone transfer.
The ebony fingerboard here has a 12" radius- perfect for big silky bends and comfy chording.
The look here is gorgeous- Ferrari Red gloss finish, block inlays, and gold hardware.
This Carvin is in good overall condition as you can see in pictures- typical chips/marks and gold plating wear from age and normal use.
The frets here are clean- set up with action of 3/32" at the 12th fret low E.
This DC200 includes its original hardshell case.
This is your chance to get your hands on a fantastic early 90s lefty Carvin example.
Don't pass this by!
