Duesenberg is highly regarded for their classic designs with a modern feel.
The spruce top and maple body is bathed in a beautiful gold-top and dark back finish, with some nice flaming on the back.
The combination of the spruce/maple and center block produces a classic, full bodied tone with excellent articulation and attack.
The pickups here are Duesenberg creations- GrandVintage humbucker in the bridge and Domino P90 in the neck.
These put a large number of great tones at your fingertips- from bridge crunch to neck snarls as well as sweet P90 cleans.
In the middle position Dusenberg wired this so some of the bridge lows are pulled out enabling a brilliantly voiced tone when the pickups are used together.
The maple neck is super-comfortable in the hand with an oval C profile, and the set neck joint gives this guitar excellent sustain and tone transfer.
The icing on the cake is the vibrato- super smooth pitch manipulations.
This Starplayer is in excellent overall condition- light play wear.
The frets here are clean- set up with action of 3/32" at the 12th fret low E.
