This Wolfgang starts off with a basswood body with a beautiful carved top.
This basswood is light weight, balanced, and resonant, this sets the stage for the Wolfgang humbuckers to really shine.
These pickups are direct mounted to soak up the natural resonance of the body and add in their their famous mids.
They are high output without going over the top- a great balance between tone and push.
Fantastic crunch off the bridge pickup and syrupy, yet articulate sustain from the neck pickup.

The quartersawn maple neck here is super comfortable- 'Wolfgang' thin C profile and satin back for a fast feel.
The ebony board has a 12"-16" compound radius- which allows for comfortable chording and effortless bends.
The icing on the cake is the EVH Floyd Rose double locking tremolo, complete with the D-Tuna, enabling quick dropped D shifts.
Eddie was instrumental in the design of the original Floyd, so this one's got the feel and tuning stability you need.
