Welcome, you are looking at a great piece.
This is the RKS Wave Trans Red Electric Guitar.
25.5" scale. 1.63" nut width. 7 lbs 12 oz.
.70"-.85" 1st to 12th fret neck depth
RKS debuted at NAMM in 2005.
With their radical designs, the RKS instruments were a huge hit.
The polymer core allows for exceptional natural resonance and sustain, and the mahogany surrounding body adds in some nice mids.
The pickups here are the Lace- at 9.65k (B) and 9.18k (N) these have a pushed classic tone.
Perfect for big bridge crunch and sweet neck sustains.
These run into the volume, tone, and 3-way controls located in the center- for easy reach and a clean look.
The maple/rosewood neck here has a great thin feel, with its satin finish allowing for quick position shifts.
The 10"-12" compound fingerboard radius allows for comfortable chording and effortless bends.
The look here is futuristic- trans red finish showing off the flamed veneer, medium abalone dots, and chrome hardware.
This RKS is in very good overall condition as you can see in pics- light wear from normal use and some discoloration near the heel.
The frets here are clean- set up with action of 3/32" at the 12th fret low E.
This auction includes the Road Runner zippered case.
This is your chance to get your hands on a great RKS Wave example.
