Welcome, you are looking at a great piece.
This is the Squier Active Contemporary Starcaster Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar.
25.5" scale. 1.65" nut width. 15.25" bottom bout. 1.75" deep. 6 lbs 12 oz.
.72"-.76" 1st to 12th fret neck depth.
The Starcaster debuted in 1976 to compete with Gibson's 335 and was discontinued in 1980.
The original issued Starcasters are highly sought after by collectors and players.
That has made the prices of the original run soar- putting them out of the price range for players that want them.
Fender responded by reissuing the guitar under the Squier moniker so players could access it.
The maple sealed semi-hollow body creates a fantastic natural tone- very articulate mids with a bit of acoustic resonance.
Dual active ceramic humbuckers grab the natural tone and add in fantastic mids.
A nice compliment to the natural resonance here.
Overdriven, the bridge pickup is big and fat while retaining note clarity.
The neck pickup's sustain is just jaw dropping- super thick and syrupy.
The maple/maple neck here is super thin with a satin finished oval C profile.
Add to that the 12" radius and you have a bender's dream.
The look here is classic- Ice Blue Metallic finish, black body binding, large Starcaster headstock, and chrome hardware.
This is your chance to get your hands on a Fender classic- the Squier Active Contemporary Starcaster.
