Welcome, you are looking at a great piece.
This is the 1988 Steinberger Newburgh USA XM2 White Bass Electric Guitar.
34" scale. 1.50" nut width. 9 lbs 9 oz.
.87"-.98" 1st to 12th fret neck depth.
The Steinberger headless has been in the arsenal of dozens of famous players from VH to Leslie West to Geddy Lee.
This XM2 was part of the original Newburgh series, designated by the 'N' serial prefix.
With a full doublecut body, bolt-on graphite neck, and high mass bridge, this XM2 adds real wood warmth and resonance while retaining the best of all things 'Steinberger'.
The pickups here are dual EMG active pickups- articulate, loud, and quiet, perfect for keeping you solidly in the mix.
These run into the Volume, Tone, Balance circuit- simple and effective.
The graphite composite neck has a U profile feel- comfortable yet enough mass for tone transfer, which the 5-machine bolt attachment assists.
The look here is simple and classic- White finish (yellowed from age), black pinstripes, medium dot markers, and black hardware.
This XM2 is in good overall condition as you can see in pictures- some scratches/marks/chips from normal use and time.
The frets are clean- this one is ready to play.
This Steinberger includes a non-original padded gig bag.
This is your chance to get your hands on a rare bass the Steinberger Newburgh XM2 White/Black.
Don't pass this by!
