Used Vintage 1930's Gibson USA L-50 Arch Top Acoustic Guitar Flip-Out Tuning Machines
**Feel free to make a reasonable offer**
Welcome, you are looking at a great piece.
This is the Vintage 1930's Gibson USA L50 Acoustic Guitar.
24.75" scale length. 1.73" nut width. 16.25" bottom bout. 3.25" deep.
The L50 was a staple of the Gibson line between 1932 and 1970.
The serial here is very difficult to read, but the logo places this around the mid 1930's.
The body here is mahogany and spruce- combined with the 16.25" size, there is a fantastic balance of warm natural acoustics and articulation.
The woods here have aged naturally, blessing us with a very responsive instrument, with excellent natural projection.
The mahogany neck here has the classic Gibson feel.
The neck measures 1"-1.12" 1st to 12th fret neck depth with a slightly softened V profile.
Add to that the 10" fretboard radius and you have a fantastic player.
The look here is classic- sunburst finish, double bound body, dot inlays, Gibson Flip-Out tuners (later replacement), and chrome hardware.
This L50 is in good +/- overall condition- there are several glue repaired hairline cracks on the body (pics)- repairs are strong.
The frets here have wear (pic)- set up with action of 3/32" at the 12th fret low E.
This auction includes the chipboard case.
This is your chance to get your hands on a fantastic vintage outing from Gibson USA.
