Welcome, you are looking at a great piece.
This is the Vintage 1967 Epiphone Kalamazoo E-252 Broadway Electric Guitar.
25.5" scale. 1.62" nut width. 17 1/4" bottom bout. 2-7/8" deep.
6 lbs 12 oz.
.80"-.93" 1st to 12th fret neck depth.
The Broadway has been in the Epiphone line since the 30s and has always been a favorite of jazz players.
Featuring a maple arch top body, this hollowbody embodies the quintessential warm jazz sounds with the maple providing excellent note definition.
Dual Gibson Patent Sticker mini-humbucker pickups grab the natural acoustic resonance and add in their famous sweet mids and note articulation you expect from a mini.
The bridge pickup has a bit of nice brilliance couple with depth. The neck pickup brings big warmth.
Roll the tone control back and huge comp tones are right there. Incredible.
The mahogany neck has thin overall feel with enough mass to create exceptional tone transfer.
The look here is beautiful- Natural finish showing off the grains, multi-ply binding, Frequensator tailpiece, block inlays, and chrome hardware.
This Broadway is in very good overall condition, especially for its age- changed tuners (Grover Pat Pend), an extra pickguard hole on the side, and typical marks- nothing that affects the performance whatsoever.
Very clean for a 55 year old example.
The frets are clean- this beauty is set up with action of 3/32" at the 12th fret.
This is your chance to get your hands on an incredible Epiphone Kalamazoo example- the 1967 E-252 Broadway.
