Welcome, you are looking at a great piece.
This is the Vintage 1983 Gene Matisko Custom Alembic Tribute Electric Guitar.
24.75" scale. 1.64" nut width. 7 lbs 14 oz.
.85"-1" 1st to 12th fret neck depth.
This guitar is absolutely stunning- Matisko's builds are held in very high regard, he even built a few guitars for Eddie Van Halen.
This Matisko starts off with a light weight maple body with a flamed koa top and back- a fantastic combo which enables full bottom end and upper midrange push.
The brass bridge and tailpiece enable very good articulation and sustain.
A pair of humbuckers grab this natural tone and take it even further- these look like early Dimarzio Super 2s, both read in the 8k range.
These pickups offer exceptional 3-dimensional crunch and leads in the bridge, and thick neck pickup sustains.
The pots here are oriented with the controls for the bridge on the top and neck on the bottom.
Each pickup has a coil tap switch.
The 3-piece through maple/walnut (?) neck here has a full-feeling oval C (almost soft V) profile for excellent tone transfer.
The ebony fingerboard's radius is slightly concave (classical guitar style) for easy chording and effortless bends.
The look here is gorgeous- Natural finish showing off the flame and wood grains, Alembic-esque oval inlays, and chrome hardware.
This instrument is in very good overall condition as you can see in pictures- typical marks from age and normal use.
The frets here are clean- set up with action just about 3/32" at the 12th fret low E.
This is your chance to add a stunning custom Matisko example to your collection.
