$ 899.00

Welcome, you are looking at a great piece- only 100 of these guitars were made.
This is the Vintage Joe Doe Lucky Betty Red Orange Strat Electric Guitar.
25.5" scale. 1.66" nut width. 8 lbs 7 oz.
.78"-.87" 1st to 12th fret neck depth.
Starting out in the summer of 1959 from Porter, Indiana, ‘Lucky’ Betty La Foy and her all female stunt crew took their daredevil show across America, driving jalopies through rings of fire, jumping motorbikes over school buses and escaping certain death many times over.
And if that wasn’t dangerous enough, Betty’s piéce de résistance was to ride the Wall of Death on a modified ex “Wrecking Crew’ Indian Scout motorbike while playing rock n roll hits on her custom made electric guitar.
This Betty starts off with an alder body, emblazoned with 'Lucky Betty and Her Daring Devils' graphics.
The medium weight here provides a good balance between natural resonance and midrange push.
Grabbing up that tone is the Joe Doe humbucker pickup.
This pickup features a 'Gretsch' style, offering a bit of that classic bite.
This pickup runs into the variable coil tap, enabling single coil cleans as well as the 8k humbucker tones.
A fantastic tone machine.
The maple neck has a comfortable oval C profile, with a good luck message written on the back, just like Betty's own guitar.
The Lignum Rosa fingerboard has a 10" radius for comfortable chording and effortless bends.
The icing on the cake is the Wilkinson tremolo- provides classic looks and feel, with the quality you expect from Wilkinson.
This is your chance to get your hands on a fantastic Vintage Superstrat example.
