This is a Michael Kelly 1955 Custom Collection Modshop MK55 Electric Guitar.
It weighs 8 lbs 12 oz, 25.5" scale, 1.69" nut width.
The Custom Collection 55 Ebony model features a hard to find exotic ebony top, on a swamp ash body with flame maple binding.
Maple neck, Pau Ferro board.
Featuring Kelly's Great 8 electronics mod.
Doubling the sonic spectrum of their two humbucker instruments.
Two push-pull switches to the volume/tone, that when pulled up one coil of the humbucker is disengaged.
You can control each pickup separately maximizing your options- awesome!
This MK55 is in excellent overall condition. We consider it 'B-Stock' as it has never been sold, but it has a large ding at the bottom of the body where the finish is cracked and the wood compressed.
Otherwise, it's been fully setup. The neck set to optimal playing relief, and the frets are clean.
