The alder body is cut the classic curves of the early 80s San Dimas contours that made Charvel famous.
The guitar's weight enables a nice balance between natural resonance and midrange push.
These fantastic vibrations are grabbed by a trio of Seymour Duncan USA pickups- a JB in the bridge and dual SSL-6 single coils.
The 5-way switch here enables some great pickup combinations- Position 1. Full Bridge Pickup, Position 2. Bridge Inner Coil and Middle Pickup, Position 3. Bridge Outer Coil and Neck Pickup, Position 4. Middle and Neck Pickup, Position 5. Full Neck Pickup.
Add to that the No-Load tone control and you have a world of sounds at your fingertips.
This Pro Mod features a maple neck with a Charvel super-slim Speed Neck profile, and of course, that awesome headstock they were allowed to bring back.
