Welcome to All Music Inc! Right now, you are looking at a great piece.
This is a vintage 1965 Ampeg G-12 Gemini I Guitar Tube Combo Amplifier.
What a classic! The Gemini series as you probably know are extremely well regarded by jazz guitarists for thir rich, clean tone.
The Gemini I with its dual channels, and separate bass/treble controls, was an upgrade from the Reverberocket.
As a matter of fact, this amp was used predominantly by the "Manhattan Guitar Club" which was made of top NY metro area top studio and performing jazz guitarists.
Features (2) x 7591s, (1) x 7199, (3) x 12AX7s, and (1) x 6CG7 tubes.
It measures 25" wide, 12" deep, 22" tall, and it weighs 44 lbs.
This amp is in good overall condition, especially considering its age.
All the normal marks/scratches, some tolex wear, and a replacement handle.
Fully tested and works as it should, minus the Tremolo. We couldn't get any tremolo effect to work properly. This may be an easy fix for someone in the know.
It even includes its original footswitch!
Don't miss out on a piece of Ampeg history with this Gemini I.
Buy with confidence.
Don't pass this by!
