This is the 1993/94 Fender Japan Precision Lyte Bass Red Crackle Electric Bass Guitar.
34" scale. 1.50" nut width. 6 lbs 9 oz.
.83"-.92" 1st to 12th fret neck depth.
This Precision starts off with a super light fiber body and high mass bridge.
This enables a big resonant natural tone.
P&J pickups grab this natural tone and run into an active cicruit with controls for Volume, Blend, Bass, and Treble.
This circuit offers a wide range of tones to choose from.
The neck here has a comfortable oval C profile.
The look here is very cool- red finish which was refinished to a graduated crackle and gold hardware.
This Precision is in good overall condition as you can see in pics- typical scratches and marks from age and use, but nothing that affects the performance whatsoever.
The frets here are clean- set up with action of just over 3/32" at the 12th fret low E.
