Welcome, you are looking at a great piece.
This is the 1998 Gibson USA SG-X 24-Fret Tommy Hilfiger Electric Guitar.
24.75" scale. 1 11/16" nut width. 6 lbs 8 oz.
.82"-.93" 1st to 12th fret neck depth.
In 1998 Gibson teamed up with Tommy Hilfiger for this very limited model, just over 100 were built.
The body and neck here are light weight mahogany for incredible warmth and resonance.
The finish here is thin blue, which lets the wood resonate naturally, resulting in an exceptionally 'woody' natural tone.
With this SG, Gibson installed a Gibson humbucker- measuring at 14.47k this one has some push.
The mini switch splits it for good cleans and 'single coil' overdrives.
Incredible.
The neck here has a great feel- semi-chunky oval C profile.
Add to that the 12" radius and you have a serious player.
The look is gorgeous- dark blue finish with 'Tommy Hilfiger' logo, dot inlays, Gibson Deluxe tuning machines, and chrome hardware.
This SG-X is in good overall condition as you can see in pictures- typical scratches and wear from normal use.
Nothing that affects the performance whatsoever.
The frets here are clean- set up with action of 3/32" at the 12th fret low E.
This auction includes the gig bag in pics.
This is your chance to get your hands on an incredibly limited Gibson SG example- the 1998 SG-X.
