This is the Vintage 1971 Fender Bassman Electric Guitar Tube Amplifier.
The Bassman is one of the most celebrated amplifiers of all time. Beginning life in the 50s as a bass amplifier, guitar players players quickly claimed it as their own.
That great tube tone- especially when pushed- creates those classic tones we have heard live & on record for the last 50 years.
The Bassman is 50 watts of all tube power- dual Tung-Sol 6L6's, (3) 12ax7's, and (1) 12AT7.
Point to point wired for the ultimate in responsive tone.
Two channels- Bass & Normal.
Both channels have Volume, Treble, & Bass controls.
The Bass channel has that great compressed warm tone-engage the Deep switch for an even warmer tone- perfect for jazz comps.
The Normal channel has that famous Fender sparkle- great for strummed cleans.
On either channel, as you push the volume, you encounter a lot of really cool classic tones.
From 'pushed' Nashville cleans, to amazing tube sustain.
This beauty is in good overall condition- typical marks from age and normal use.
