Rockaway Relic guitars are custom made and hand painted in NYC.
This instrument starts off with a basswood body, custom finished in a purple sparkle design.
The weight enables a balance between natural resonance and midrange push, while the chunky neck brings in very good tone transfer.
Grabbing up this tonal goodness is a Duncan SH-4 JB Rails humbucker, 18.66K.
Packing in the original JB's fantastic top and bottom end power with its booster upper midrange.
Factor in beautifully balanced rail design that showcases each string across an Alnico VIII bar magnet for all frequencies.
The canary wood neck has a full hand feel and the pau ferro board has a 9.5" radius- a real player.
The look here is absolutely gorgeous- custom purple finish,
Excellent overall condition- light marks from the building process.
The frets here are clean- setup with action just under 3/32" at the 12th fret low E.
