Welcome, you are looking at a great piece.
This is the Vintage 1965 Fender XII 12-String Candy Apple Red Electric Guitar.
25.5" scale. 1.63" nut width. 8 lbs 4 oz.
.82"-.91" 1st to 12th fret neck depth.
This is a first year example.
This XII starts off with an alder body- mid weight for a great midrange push- the perfect starting point for an electric 12 string.
Grabbing up that natural tone are a pair of XII split single coil pickups.
The split of these pickups recreates the angled slant tones of the Stratocaster- for warm lows and brilliant high end.
A 4-way switch, with selections for bridge, neck, in-phase, and out of phase, and master volume and tone enable you to dial in your sound in seconds.
A classic tone machine.
The neck here has a fantastic thin oval C profile and the rosewood veneer fingerboard has a 7.25" radius.
The look here is beautiful- Candy Apple Red finish, white guard, and chrome hardware.
This XII is a real time machine piece as you can see in pics- typical marks and finish crazing from time and normal use, but pretty clean overall.
This is your chance to get your hands on a first year Fender XII.
