The mahogany body is amazingly resonant and vibrant, capped with a carved maple top, finished in a satin tobacco sunburst.
The iconic combination of maple on mahogany produces a voice of warm, full lows and dynamic, articulate top end.
This historic tone is captured by a pair of Gibson 490 humbuckers. These sonic wonders have that fantastic LP bridge crunch and neck sustains.
The one-piece maple neck has a Slim Taper-ish profile for a comfortable feel, and the rosewood fretboard has the traditional trapezoid inlays.
This Tribute is in good overall condition as you can see in pictures- a small chip on the side and compression dings- purely aesthetic.
The frets here are clean- set up with action of 3/32" at the 12th fret low E.
