Welcome to All Music Inc's Musicdungeon!
Right now, you are looking at a rare guitar.
This is a 1984 Fender Esprit Redburst Electric Guitar.
It weighs 9 lbs 6 oz, 24.75" scale, 1.69" nut width.
.80" - .88" 1st to 12th fret neck depth.
Made in Japan, for only one year - 1984.
The early '80s saw a time when Fender became interested in manufacturing guitars that were high quality alternatives to Gibson.
They asked Dan Smith for ideas - and he came delivered.
The Master Series included the Flame and Esprit.
This Esprit Elite features a chambered alder body, maple top, maple neck, bound rosewood board with snowflake inlays.
The original Schaller pickups were replaced with Lollar Imperials, with a 3-way selector switch and coil tap mini toggle.
Greasebucket capacitors were added to the tone circuit.
The original fine tuning tailpiece was replaced with a Stop-Bar.
This Esprit is in good overall condition.
Just setup, the neck is set to optimal playing relief and the frets are clean.
Appropriate wear for a 42 year old guitar - marks/scratches, dings, finish chips/chatters.
Please carefully look through all of our detailed photos for a better visual description.
It includes the Fender padded gig bag shown in photos.
