This is a 1991 Fender Heartfield Elan III Electric Guitar.
It weighs 8 lbs, 25" scale, 1.69" nut width.
.80" - .91" 1st - 12th fret neck depth.
Out of Fender's high-end Japan Heartfield series, this Elan III is a rare beauty, and as beautiful as it is, it plays and sounds even better.
Starting with a Honduras Mahogany body with an insanely carved flamed maple top, and a set mahogany neck.
This provides you with all the natural resonance, brightness, and amazing tonal transfer.
All records show it came stock with DiMarzio's, though there is no marking on the bottom of the pickups.
The HSH configuration gives you so much tonal versatility, especially with the TBX tone control (dual pot as the tone).
The Floyd Rose Special is very expressive.
Sharkfin inlays with a red accent on the 12th fret.
Bathed in a beautiful antique burst finish that really makes that flamed maple pop.
It's in good overall condition, especially given its age.
Just setup, the neck is set to optimal playing relief, and the frets are clean.
All the normal play wear for a 35 year old guitar, marks/scratches, some dings.
