This is a JRC4558 IC with symmetrical overdrive.
This pedal works especially well as a boost with some extra gain thrown into the signal.
The overdrive produced is a very sweet, classic sounding overdrive but is very touch sensitive.
The result is a great, gritty overdrive that's very touch sensitive and dynamic.
The nano pedal casing allows it to easily fit on your pedalboard.
Even at such an affordable price, it is true-bypass so your signal won't degrade if you aren't using it.
