Electro-Harmonix designed this pedal specifically as a more affordable alternative to the famous Klon Centaur.
This overdrive pedal works great in a few ways.
As a clean boost, it does very well.
The boosted power rails in this pedal allow for great headroom.
As an overdrive/distortion, it has a very cool natural, uncompressed sound to it.
Again, the increased headroom offers great transparency and clarity to the notes you play.
