The SE Kestrel takes a traditional single-coil bass and adds PRS' magic, delivering a new take on a classic instrument.
Your fingers will feel instantly comfortable on the 5-ply maple/walnut neck, while it vibrates with endless sustain.
The alder body balances low, mid, and high frequencies with a highly resonant thump and sustain.
Alder also provides a slightly pronounced upper midrange, enhancing the instrument's clarity.
Grabbing up all this tonal goodness are a pair of The Kestrel 4B'S' pickups.
They're extremely punchy and focused, giving you the ability to walk a low-mid focused blues line, articulate a high-mid focused with rich harmonics.
Nail the scooped midrange and sweet top-end slappers favor, and wield a razor-sharp blistering rock bassline.
It's in good overall condition.
Just setup, the neck is straight and the frets are clean. It has normal playwear, light marks/scratches, and an area on the bottom bout where the finish has cracked.
