This is the Vintage 1959 Fender Precision Bass Sunburst Electric Bass Guitar.
34" scale length. 1.70" nut width. 8 lbs 5 oz.
.82"-.93" 1st to 12th fret neck depth.
The Precision bass has been a standard in popular music since the 50s, and being born in 1959 this Fender is very much part of that history.
The pot codes read from 1959, the body is dated 12/59 and the serial goes to 1960.
As you can see in pics this bass is worn, with the place where the bassist would rest their wrist has heavy wood wear.
This bass has the 'worn in sneakers' tone to go with the wear, with the pickup measuring 10.73k- right at the lower part of P-Bass range, this is very toneful bass.
The frets here are in very good condition- set up with action of 3/32" at the 12th fret low E.
