Welcome, you are looking at a great piece.
This is the Vintage 1965 Harmony Silvertone H1454 Rocket Electric Guitar.
24 1/8" scale. 1.75" nut width. 15-5/8" bottom bout. 1-7/8" deep. 6 lbs 12 oz.
.92"-1.02" 1st to 12th fret neck depth.
The vintage Harmony guitars are celebrated for their cool, quirky designs and tonal options.=.
This beauty starts off with a figured maple veneer and poplar neck.
The light weight of this hollowbody guitar creates exceptional natural resonance.
Plugging in, a trio of DeArmond Silver Foils soak up that natural tone and add in their own famous mids.
Each of these pickups has its own on/off, volume, and tone control, enabling 7 pickup combinations and the ability to adjust to preference.
Very cool.
The bound poplar/rosewood neck here is chunky enough for tone transfer while remaining comfortable.
The icing on the cake is the Bigsby tremolo, allowing for classic smooth pitch manipulations.
The look here is absolutely gorgeous- Redburst finish, bound body/neck, tortoise guard, block inlays, and nickel hardware.
This Silvertone is in very good overall condition as you can see in pictures- typical small marks from age and normal use and a bent tuning machine which still works.
The frets are clean- just professionally set up with action of 3/32" at the 12th fret.
This H1454 includes the hardshell case in pics.
This is your chance to get your hands on a very cool piece of Harmony/Silvertone history.
Don't pass this by!
