Welcome to All Music Inc!
Right now, you are looking at an incredible and rare vintage guitar.
This is a vintage Hagstrom D'Aquisto Jimmy Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar.
It weighs 6 lbs 8 oz, 24.50" scale, 1.75" nut width
.77"-.88" 1st to 10th fret neck depth.
Hagstrom commissioned world renown James D'Aquisto to build, design, and later oversee a series of guitars. Over the years modifications were made, and we believe this was the last of them.
The oval sound hole, and pickup attached under the neck.
Hand carved arched maple top, maple sides, carved arched maple back. Maple neck, with a bound ebony fingerboard. Pearloid block inlays. Floating rosewood bridge, trapeze tailpiece.
The maple gives you all the incredible brightness and note articulation while the tone block adds some warmth.
Grabbing up all of these delicious tones are a single DiMarzio PAF.
It's in fair-good overall vintage condition.
Just setup, the neck is set to optimal playing relief, and the frets are clean. Exhibiting some signs of wear.
Clearly, this guitar has seen lots of love over the years. Marks/scratches, dings/dents, finish & binding chipping, beginning of some hairline cracks, and a chip piece missing on the pickguard.
Please carefully look through all of our detailed photos for a better visual description.
There is no case, but we'll include a padded gig bag.
These vintage Jimmy's are rare, built by what many consider to be one of the best luthiers of all time.
Buy with confidence.
