This is the 2013 Suhr Classic HSS Candy Apple Red Electric Guitar.
25.5" scale. 1.65" nut width. 7 lbs 14 oz.
.80"-.88" 1st to 12th fret neck depth.
With their impressive looks, tone, and playability, Suhr is one of the most respected names in the guitar world.
This Suhr was custom ordered in 2012 and shipped in 2013, build sheet included.
This Classic starts off with a light weight alder body, bathed in a stunning Candy Apple Red.
This wood, in combination with the steel block trem, results in exceptional natural resonance and articulation, with some great midrange push.
This great natural tone is captured by a trio of Suhr pickups.
The SSV humbucker measures 9k ohms- perfect for exceptional crunch and lead work, with a great 3-dimensional midrange character thanks to the alnico V magnet.
In the middle and neck we have ML single coils, also with alnico V magnets.
These bring in those 'Strat' cleans and warm overdriven neck sustains.
The 5-way switch here splits the humbucker when you combine with the middle- so there are a lot of fantastic tones in this beauty.
The satin maple neck here has an Even C Slim profile.
Combine that with the African rosewood 10"-14" compound fingerboard radius and jumbo frets and you have an incredible player.
The look is gorgeous- Candy Apple Red finish, matching headstock with MOP logo, Tusq nut, MOP dot markers, locking machines, and chrome hardware.
This Suhr is in very good overall condition- there is a small ding on the top (pic) as well as light play wear.
The frets here are clean- set up with action of 3/32" at the 12th fret low E.
