Welcome, you are looking at a really cool piece.
This is the Vintage Galanti Italy Grand Prix Green Burst Electric Guitar.
24.75" scale. 1.69" nut width. 8 lbs 10 oz.
.83"-.95" 1st to 12th fret neck depth.
The Galanti instruments were made in the 1960s, with a great radical design.
The body here is mahogany, covered in a cool thin green burst finish.
Dual single coil pickups and a push-button system provide access to B+N, Bridge, Neck, and Off.
Combined with the volume and tone controls there are a lot of cool classic tones onboard here.
The maple neck has a comfortable oval C profile and the rosewood board has a 7.25" radius.
The icing on the cake is the vibrato- perfect for those vintage 'surf' pitch manipulations.
This Galanti is in good overall condition- typical marks you expect on a 50+ year old instrument.
The bridge pickup here was rewound and both pickups are a bit weak- could be the design, I've never played another one of these to compare.
The frets here are in good condition- set up with action of 7/64" at the 12th fret low E, 1/16" 12th fret high E.
There is no case included, but we pack for safe arrival as well as insure in full.
This is your chance to add a rare guitar, in an even more rare color, to your collection.
Don't pass this by!
