The main objective with the Private Collection was to build the guitars that we wanted to play and to be able to say “Yes, we can do it!” to anything our customers could dream of. How many guitars do we really need?

It’s the question that our wives (and us as guitars players) never stop asking! Some would say one for each tuning you play in, other say one for each style of music, and when you’re a gigging musician the minimum is two (one main guitar and one backup). Really the answer is somewhere between one guitar and “one more than you’ve got right now!”

As I walked into the main lobby of the Mandalay Bay Casino, home to the house of Blues, I looked around a saw what looked like the most badass group of people to ever congregate in one place.
